Le Ô Trio
Concerts
Show all datesThe music of the Ô Trio is a reflection on identity and uprooting. Music, and in particular traditional music, is strongly related to the feeling of belonging to a community. The Ô Trio, which does not belong to any community, interprets in its own way the melodies which are not from here, but which surround us. Fruit of the mixture of the timbres of two instruments rooted in our musical culture, the harp and the violin, to which are added a few notes of singing and percussions, the soft and crystalline sound of this duo brings out the quintessence of these Yiddish, Gypsy, Celtic tunes or Latin, and evokes an inevitable nostalgia for places and eras that we have yet never explored or known.
